Florida the Cat Comes Home
February 2, 2008 - Fort Myers FL -- While driving southbound towards Fort Myers, Florida, Joe got busy on the phone and Internet looking for a lead on a kitten. He found a pet store who had a bulletin board with ads from local pet owners, one of which had a litter of kittens available. He contacted the owner, "Jonelle", and got her address. We pulled the motorhome into the condo parking lot, found Jonelle and were soon introduced to the 4-5 kittens. It wasn't long before one of the kittens stood out from the crowd and I had him in my arms. Joe and I quickly decided that he was "it" and before long we had soon-to-be-named "Florida" in a pet carrier and in the motorhome. We now had an instant addition to our family.
