Swansea, South Carolina

December 12-25, 2009 / Swansea, South Carolina -- Because of a difficulty in locating a decent RV park in the Savannah, Georgia area, we located a park about 100 miles northwest in a rural area outside of Columbia, SC. The park turned out to be very nice and a great value.

Way off the beaten path, it was 7 miles to the closest town / grocery store and even that store had limited selections from what we're used to (Wal-mart Supercenters!). 

One bright spot is that the Sprint wireless signal was excellent so my computer connection was top notch. Very unusual for such a rural area.
