First Month in New York

May 1, 20011 / New York, NY -- We began our first full month in New York after moving here on April 15. So far we've focused on making our small apartment into a home. It's getting there. The furniture we bought at IKEA will be delivered tomorrow. That alone will make a huge difference.
My 1/2 mile walk to work is great. The people dodging as I get to Times Square has gotten to be routine.
Joe hasn't been feeling well. We're hoping it's a result of all the effort put into the move. Time will tell.
Last night, the announcement that Osama bin Laden was killed hit and New York became active, but most of the activity was in downtown by Ground Zero. We didn't see too much right here on 49th St. It is great news.
