St. Patricks Day City Walk

New York, NY - March 17, 2012 -- On this beautiful spring-like St Patricks day I took a 4.4 mile walk up to Central Park West & 72nd Street, a rest stop at Strawberry Fields, across Central Park to 5th Avenue where the St Patricks Day Parade was in full motion. I stopped and watched the parade for a few minutes and then after crossing 5th Avenue continued to 3rd Avenue where I headed south. I stayed on 3rd Avenue until 53rd Street where I turned right and headed home. The parade was still going strong so I had to wait with the crowd to get across 5th Avenue. Once I was across, it was a straight shot home.
